The Chakras
The chakras are energy centers in the body, with seven main ones located along the spine from the base to the crown of the head. Each chakra is associated with specific physical, emotional, and psychological aspects and functions as a "wheel" or vortex of "subtle energy" (or prana) that flows through the body's energy channels, known as nadis. Harmonizing these centers is thought to lead to greater physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
